The 2023 edition of the NetSci-X School and Conference brought 122 participants from 17 different countries throughout the world together in Buenos Aires, Argentina between 7-10 February.

The event counted on the presence of renowned experts in the field, as Vittoria Colizza, Esteban Moro, Fosca Giannotti, Noshir Contractor, Filippo Radicchi, and Yamir Moreno, who gave keynote talks and lectures to the audience. Their talks presented wonderful insights on topics such as the control of SARS-CoV-2 at schools, or how to assembly successful teams. Local experts also offered invited talks, as Federico Vázquez, Gabriel Montes-Rojas and Sebastian Gonçalves.

With 33 oral presentations, 29 posters, 7 keynote/invited talks and 2 lectures, participants from research institutions and universities from around the world got up to date with the latest findings in Network Science. Among the discussed topics, we learned about exciting results on epidemics, mobility, opinion dinamics, computational social science, and network neuroscience, as well as fundamentals of network structure and dynamics.

This edition of the conference was also an opportunity for local researchers and undergraduates to meet the international community, counting on 61 participants from Argentina and 15 participants from Brazil. We hope this effort will help strengthening the local community working on Network Science, and stimulate new collaborations.
